The cleaning and disinfection process required to prepare for our next guests is time consuming. Thus, we politely request that our current guests check out promptly at 10am on the morning of check-out. During these challenging times, we hope that you understand that we cannot accommodate late check-out or early check-in requests.
Once you check-in, please take the time to walk through the home and let us know if you have any concerns or questions about the amenities or locating items.
We need to give our cleaning crew ample time to prepare the home and grounds for your awesome beach vacation. Parking is limited and our cleaning crew will be utilizing the driveway for the home as they clean. Therefore, if you arrive early we would ask that you park on the street until check-in time. There are several restaurants and bars within waking distance and we invite you to soak up the sun and local food while you wait. Your patience is appreciated.
Our House Rules are just a reminder of some common sense things to be aware of during your stay. We ask that there is No Smoking, No Drugs and No Parties held in our space.
Also, there is a local noise ordinance, establishing quiet hours between 9pm-8am. The town will ticket guests and hosts for noise that disturbs the peace, so we take this very seriously and it is one of the few things that can get your reservation cancelled mid-stay.
Please take the time to read our Central house rules here.

Our home uses smart locks with door codes created for your stay. Click here to view directions or troubleshoot those beeps!
There is a washer and dryer unit in the Laundry / Utility room off of the first floor hallway. Laundry directions are on the machine. Laundry pods located under the kitchen sink, in a child locked cabinet. Please re-lock the lock after you access this cabinet.
• We are not allowed to offer laundry services during your stay. If you need to refresh your bath towels, beach towels or bed sheets, then you will need to launder them yourself.
• Before laundering bathing suits and beach towels, please make sure to shake all sand out outside or pre-rinse them off in the beach shower.
• Do not mix your laundry with the house linens, as this may damage the color of our linens.
• Do not use our linens to dye your hair. Do not wash accidentally dyed linens with other linens, as this will affect the entire load.
We have a propane BBQ Grill on property for you to use during your stay. Please make sure to scrape down the grill and clean its shelving off for the next use.
The grill is stored on the back patio with a grill cover. Please remove the grill cover, fold it and store it securely, so that the wind does not blow it away. You may move the grill around on the paver area but be careful, do not place it near house, fence or gazebo. Please make sure the grill is scraped down, cleaned up and returned when it is cool. Recover the grill with its cover. You will find grill tools in your kitchen drawer along with a scraper.
Each bed features two pillows, a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, and a coverlet. There is also a throw blanket / heavy blanket located in the bottom drawer of the dresser or on the luggage rack. Extra linens for the blow up bed are located in the second floor hallway linen closet at the top of the stairs.
Extra bath towels and beach towels are also stored in the second floor linen closet.
Guests are responsible to leave the property in a clean and orderly condition. Photos / video of the home and an inventory of contents and beach gear are taken prior to check-in and again after check-out to document cleanliness, any loss or damages.
Upon check-out, we will perform an inspection and notify you within 72 hours if we have discovered any missing items, damage or issues that might have occurred to the property during your stay, requiring funds in addition to your original cleaning fee or funds to be subtracted from any cash deposit you have submitted.

We have provided you a door code, so that you don’t have to keep track of house keys. The code is active for your entire stay and will deactivate at your check-out time.
To use the code, press the Schlage logo, then enter your digital code. If successful, you will hear a beep and hear the deadbolt unlock. To lock the door from the outside, simply close the door firmly and press the Schlage logo (indicated above in yellow circle). You should then hear the deadbolt lock. To lock the door from the inside, turn the deadbolt knob. Do not touch the Schlage logo button on the interior of the lock as this will set a door activity alert.
Crazy Beeping of the Lock:
You have either entered your code incorrectly or have accidentally pressed the Schlage button on the interior side of the lock.

Our house features heat and central air conditioning. There is a thermostat on the 1st floor, which controls AC/heat on the first floor. There is also a thermostat on the second floor, which controls AC/heat for floors two and three. We have preset the AC temperature at 70 degrees for your stay. However, if you would like to make it warmer or turn the air off, then you can do so with the directions below. Please do not put the AC lower than 68 degrees.
Thermostat instructions:
Let nature in: There will be times during your stay when the outside temperature is cooler than inside the house. We are a block from the beach and the breeze should jet through the house if you open the doors/windows for a quick cool down.
Close it up: Do not run the AC while keeping doors and windows open. This drives up our utilities unnecessarily and makes the cost of future stays more expensive.
Please let us know if you are having trouble with the system. You can also access the system instructions below.
