The cleaning and disinfection process required to prepare for our next guests is time consuming. Thus, we politely request that our current guests check out promptly at 11am on the morning of check-out. During these challenging times, we hope that you understand that we cannot accommodate late check-out or early check-in requests.
Once you check-in, please take the time to walk through the space and let us know if you have any concerns or questions about the amenities or locating items.
We need to give our cleaning crew ample time to prepare your space for your awesome beach vacation. Parking is limited and our cleaning crew will be utilizing the parking space for the unit as they clean, therefore if you arrive early we would ask that you park on the street until check-in time. There are several restaurants and bars within waking distance and we invite you to soak up the sun and local food while you wait. Your patience is appreciated.
Our House Rules are just a reminder of some common sense things to be aware of during your stay. We ask that there is No Smoking, No Drugs and No Parties held in our space.
Also, there is a local noise ordinance, establishing quiet hours between 9pm-8am. The town will ticket guests and hosts for noise that disturbs the peace, so we take this very seriously and it is one of the few things that can get your reservation cancelled mid-stay.
Please take the time to read our Ocean house rules here.

There is a washer and dryer unit in the bathroom area. Laundry directions are on the machine. Laundry pods located under the kitchen sink, in a child locked cabinet. Please re-lock the lock after you access this cabinet.
• We are not allowed to offer laundry services during your stay. If you need to refresh your bath towels, beach towels or bed sheets, then you will need to launder them yourself.
• Before laundering bathing suits and beach towels, please make sure to shake all sand out outside or pre-rinse them off in the beach shower.
• Do not mix your laundry with the house linens, as this may damage the color of our linens.
• Do not use our linens to dye your hair. Do not wash accidentally dyed linens with other linens, as this will affect the entire load.
We have a propane BBQ Grill on property for you to use during your stay. It is a shared amenity between the units, so please make sure to scrape down the grill and clean its shelving off for the next guest to use it.
The grill is stored near the beach bins in the back parking lot with a grill cover. Please remove the grill cover, fold it and store it securely, so that the wind does not blow it away. Please move the grill behind the beach bins in the little alley before begin. You cannot use the grill near the cars or the shower stall vinyl walls. You may also move the grill to the front, shared corner space near the picnic table but you should put a garbage bag or cardboard under the grill so that any grease does not stain the pavers. Please make sure the grill is scraped down, cleaned up and returned when it is cool. Recover the grill with its cover. You will find grill tools in your kitchen drawer along with a scraper.
Each bed features two pillows, a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, and a coverlet. There is also a throw blanket / heavy blanket located in the bottom drawer of the dresser or on the luggage rack.
We have a sofa sleep bed with a full mattress. You will notice when that bed is extended, the mattress has a mattress topper and a fitted mattress protector on it. Due to its fold-away nature, the linens have to be stored separately. You will find the linens and a blanket for the sofa bed stored in the bottom cabinets in the Laundry/Bathroom area and the extra pillows are on the luggage rack in the front bedroom.
Guests are responsible to leave the property in a clean and orderly condition. Photos / video of the unit and an inventory of contents and beach gear are taken prior to check-in and again after check-out to document cleanliness, any loss or damages. Upon check-out, we will perform an inspection and notify you within 72 hours if we have discovered any missing items, damage or issues that might have occurred to the property during your stay, requiring funds in addition to your original cleaning fee. Our house features ductless AC/Heat in the main room as well as all the bedrooms. The wall units are powerful and we have preset the AC temperature for your stay. However, if you would like to make adjustments you can do so through the AC remote. Remotes are located on the kitchen wall for the living room unit and on a wall mount in each bedroom. Please make sure that the remotes are returned to the wall mounts after any adjustments are made. **The unit will take a few minutes to respond to your changes.
Controlling the temperature:
AC: The AC should already be on, with the mode button set to AC. Point the remote at the grey square sensor on the main unit. Adjust the temperature by pressing the up or down arrow on the ‘set temp’ button. The temperature will show in the window of the remote. Once the temperature adjustment is made you will hear an audible beep from the main unit. It may take a few minutes for the unit to make the adjustment.
HEAT: If you want to turn on the heat, point the remote at the grey square sensor on the main unit. Then adjust the 'Mode Button' from AC to HEAT. Use the ‘Set Temp’ button to adjust the heat up or down. The temperature will show in the window of the remote. Once the temperature adjustment is made you will hear an audible beep from the main unit. It may take a few minutes for the unit to make the adjustment.
If the economy light is blinking, then press the economy button on the remote and it should switch off. Then turn the unit off and on again with the start/stop button.
If the operation button is blinking, then turn the unit off and on again with the start/stop button. Wait a few minutes for the unit to reset.
