Trash schedule

Point Pleasant Beach requires everyone to separate their trash from their recycling. Each has its own dedicated trash can in the bin outside. Please put out the trash cans as per the posted schedule. No bags allowed to be put on curb only cans. The trash is collected by humans and therefore the cans are smaller, hold less items and should be brought to the curb frequently during your stay. 

Opening Bin:  1) Pull up top lid. 2) Make sure front door latch near your foot is pulled up. 3) Open right door first, then left. 4) Roll out can.

Placement: The trash cans are located in the hip-high, grey bin on the Easton Lane side of the house. There are both Trash and Recycle cans in this bin. They need to be put on the median on the front curb on Ocean Ave after 7pm. See picture below. They should be brought back in promptly after pick up (6-7am) and placed back in the grey bin the next morning before 10am.

The trash is picked up daily during summer, Monday through Saturday morning.  Recycling is picked up Wednesday morning. We kindly ask that you take the trash cans to the curbside, in front of the house the night before after 7pm. Cans need to be returned to the storage closet on the side of the house before 10am the day of service.

Trash: Trash gets picked up in the winter months on Mondays and Thursdays. Please make sure to take the trash can to the curb after 7pm on Sunday night and on Wednesday night, as the trash is collected 6-7am the next morning. Cans need to be returned to the storage closet on the side of the house before 10am the day of service.

Recycling: Recycling gets picked up on Wednesday morning. Please take recycling to the curb on Tuesday night after 7pm.
