Parking information

We have a driveway in back of the house that is shared by both units of our duplex. Each unit is allotted one parking space with their rental, which can fit 1 sedan/car or a medium-sized SUV. If your vehicle is a full-sized SUV, extended pickup truck, cargo van, etc., then you will need to park it on the street as you will not be able to fit in the spot or maneuver it in and out of the spot and narrow lane.

ENTERING & EXITING:

It is located off of a narrow beach lane called Easton St. Only 1 car can utilize this street at a time, so be careful pulling in or out.   Watch out for people & kids walking up to the beach on the lane.

When pulling in, pull all the way forward to the wooden line. This will leave you enough room to access your beach bin and room behind your car for both units to swing the cars around when backing out. Nine point turns are your friend when pulling out of your spot. DO NOT BACK OVER THE NEIGHBOR'S SIDEWALK OR HIT THEIR PICNIC TABLE OR BBQ.

NO extra cars in lot:

It may look like you have plenty of room behind your car when you pull in properly but don't think about squeezing in a second car! You will need the extra room to swing your car out of the spaces when exiting the spot. TRUST US.

UNIT 1 PARKING: 

Guests renting Unit 1 should park on the right side of our lot at the rear of the home. Please pull forward to the wooden strip indicating the head of the spot. Your beach bin is at the head of your parking spot marked Unit 1. Do not pull too far forward, as you may may block access to the outdoor shower.  

UNIT 2 PARKING: 

Guests renting Unit 2 should park on the left side of the lot. Please pull forward to the wooden strip indicating the head of the spot. Your beach bin is at the head of your parking spot marked Unit 2. Do not pull too far forward, which may block access to your bin.

Towing & Tickets:

Our backlot is defined by the grey crushed stone. DO NOT have any portion of your vehicle protruding into the asphalt beach lane (Easton St), as this will get your car towed. Do not park on our sidewalk (see below), paver areas, or over the center wooden line, which will block the other unit's guests, as this will get you towed. *Any excess vehicles parked in backlot will be towed at the owner's expense.

Extended parking:

Please keep in mind that parking is scarce during the summer season and we will be unable to accommodate guest parking in our lot before check-in or after check-out, as the cleaning crew needs the space while they work.

TIP: If you are expecting guests during your stay, then take the time to park your vehicle in an open spot on Ocean Ave and save the unit’s lot spot for your incoming guests or family members.

We have 2 on-street, overnight parking passes that will keep you from getting a ticket. Parking on Ocean Ave in front of the house and down the wider side streets is free during the day.  Please place the pass on the driver's side of your front dashboard.
