We have provided the home with 8 seasonal beach badges on lanyards. These will give you access to Jenkinson’s Beach during operating hours, during the months of Mid-May through September. If you require additional daily or weekly badges, these can be purchased at the beach gates along the boardwalk. (Badges are not required during off season September through Mid-May.)
Please remember to return your beach badges to the hook in the front closet for the next guests. The Replacement cost for lost or unreturned badges is $100 each.*
Our home features quite a bit of beach gear that you can use during your stay such as a beach wagon, umbrella, a few beach chairs, and sand toys and beach towels. The gear is located in the outside storage bin, next to the garage. The beach bin code is 1001.
Please stow gear back daily and lock the bin to protect the gear. For safety, please let us know if any gear gets damaged during your stay.
Beach towels are provided in the unit. We ask that all sandy towels are shaken out and all bathing suits rinsed out in outdoor show prior to laundering them in our machine.
We have a few lawn games & other equipment locate din the beach bin. You will find Bocci Ball (lawn bowling) & Corn Hole boards and bean bags. In addition, e have some fishing equipment in the bin as well as beach items and bike gear. Our treasure hunter metal detector and sand scoop is located inside the house in the front closet near the front door.
There are three bikes and safety helmets on property that are available for your use. The bike lock code is 1001. Please make sure to wear the provided bike helmets for safety. Use the provided bike locks to secure the bikes when you are out and about as well as when you stow them back on our rack.
Use of the beach bikes is at your own risk.
Bikes are located on the side of the house. Helmets are located in the beach bin. If the bikes are covered, then please store the cover in the beach bin so the wind does not blow it away.
The closest beach entrance is on the boards would be at the boardwalk at the end of Central Ave. However, there are several entrances up and down the boardwalk. Your rental comes with 8 seasonal beach badges, good for all age ranges. The beach passes provided are valid at beach entrances located from the Manasquan Inlet up to the amusement rides on the boardwalk.
HOURS: The gate will be open when lifeguards are on duty, 8:30am – 5:30pm weekdays & 8:00am - 5:30pm weekends, from Memorial Day to Labor Day. (Weather permitting)
